    I am a young men's president, and I got this question from one of my young men: Are the things in "For the Strength of Youth" commandments? I think the answer is no; in other words, you can still get a temple recommend if you date before you're 16 (at least I think you can). But I hesitate to tell him "no", because these standards come from men who are prophets and I believe they are inspired counsel. So should my answer be "Technically, they are not commandments, but if a prophet of God told you to do something, wouldn't you want to do it?" What do you think?
