I'm a huge Lebron fan. As a kid I grew up watching MJ and as an adult I tell my kids that Lebron is the closest they'll ever get to see to someone as great as my childhood favorite. I truly hope Lebron stays in Cleveland. I think sticking it out and winning one more with the Cavs will be 10x more meaningful (not just to his fans but to himself personally when he looks back on his career 50 years from now) than forming a super team in LA or Houston wherever he might go and winning one or more championships with that team.

Happy Sunday everyone. I may have actually come to terms with this website last night. The Church is always telling us to live within our means, and I guess these guys are trying to help us do that right? That's what my friend said at least =)

I wouldn't read much into it either. Of course when he's off his mission you could (and should) stay in touch with him and see where things go.

Constant problem for us. I live in an affluent part of California and I've heard all sorts of excuses the worse being that the ward should hire cleaners to do it with all the tithing people pay! Totally miss the point that it's about getting the opportunity to serve and to appreciate having a building to meet in.

I did not have time to review all the posts in this thread, but the title of it struck me because I do think statistics sometimes does become too much of a focus. Home Teaching for example has become a monthly reporting campaign to get numbers reported, and I routinely get text messages to report my home teaching as opposed to "Hey, how is so and so doing". I know the numbers are important for a lot of reasons, but I think the focus sometimes shifts too much to the numbers.

What an incredible resource this forum is! This is my first post and I wanted to kick off my time here by seeing if anyone else felt the same as me about this site - www.bookofmoremoney.com. I'm a little offended by it, but perhaps I should just laugh? Obviously they're trying to cater to Mormons but the play on the name and the "Good, Better, and Best" deals thing seems very worldly to me. Does anyone else feel the same, or perhaps I am overreacting?
