I haven't read the article yet but I would like to refer to a study mentioned in the book 'Transformed By The Light; by Melvin Morse M. D....... (at least I am almost certain it was in his book)....... He said that a group of people who had recently attempted suicide were simply given near death experience accounts to read........ zero people from that group attempted suicide again during the duration of the study. From that promising start he was wondering if NDE accounts had potential as one important part of therapy for suicide prevention. Wow!!!! I am so glad that I found this forum! AMEN!!!!!! On this note..... I would like to apologize for buying into the idea that my old church..... was superior to yours! Because we attempted to observe the weekly Jewish Sabbath, the annual Jewish Sabbaths, avoid pork and other meats....... and had some pretty good ideas on hidden meaning in many Jewish Holy Day rituals........ we members of the Worldwide Church of God became very proud...... and convinced of our own superiority. Beginning especially around 1990 Messiah Yeshua - Jesus answered my prayers for correction....... and wisdom...... and He led me to see error, after error, after error in my own supposed understanding of scripture..... in my case near death experience accounts were used to correct many of my total fowl ups on the meaning of much of the Jewish and Christian scriptures. Our sin of pride.... took us very, very, very close to...... (if not over the line of)...... "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" which the Scribes and Pharisees were playing around with by accusing Messiah Yeshua - Jesus of doing miracles by the power of Baalzebub!

I could be wrong.... but for many years now I am thinking that the key to us Christians from all across the denominational spectrum making significant progress toward unity on the really important issues could be found in modern near death experience accounts. You Latter Day Saints, in my opinion, have a massive head start on more than ninety percent of Christian denominations due to your leadership taking these accounts very seriously. Over these past couple of months I have been listening to an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi who had a near death experience on Passover of 2001. I have been wondering if it could be possible that this man.... .. might in many, many ways be teaching his disciples...... ideas more so like the teachings of Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus than perhaps anybody else on earth........... myself included?????? My theory is that Rabbi Alon Anava is very much like Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus due to the fact that perhaps Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus may have had at least some of the aspects of a near death experience........ or at least an out of the body experience..... in Matthew chapter 4. If.... you and I can see that this man is an astonishingly good teacher..... will some Jewish scholars be more willing to see that the Era of Messiah must be in its birth pangs? That salvation is beginning to go to Gentiles at a whole new level?

I am not yet a Latter Day Saint.... I am Messianic Gentile but I think we can agree that both King David and his son King Solomon had gifts that sure seemed prophetic but............. for many, many, many reasons.... both King David and his son missed the mark...... the bulls eye.... on the subject of polygamy.
