I agree...but God created people in His image...we are meant to be curious about the world around us, but we were never to use the things of this world to deny the existence of God....Atheists are so mixed up.... Scripture and science go hand and hand....God used an imperfect time, with imperfect people who did not have the experience or education that you and I now have to explain His creation to us in the Bible and Book of Mormon...Science is our struggle to understand what God created....don't you think people in scripture struggled with many of the same questions? God was faithful to answer them to in a fashion they could talk about, write down, translate, pass on etc....etc...etc.... Daniel didn't know what a Latter Day Saint was so he described them in terms he could understand....God loves us and works with our limitations all of the time....Blessings.

How do we help members of the Latter Day Saints and members of the Christian Denominations connect....I am intentionally using this language.... Although the LDS are now considered Christian there is still a wide gulf... How do we build bridges?... The Christian and the Latter Day Saints really need to talk....Open discourse and discussion.... It seems difficult on both sides of the aisle.... It doesn't matter whom I talk to from either camp, if you will, resistance.... Christians....everyone can be saved but the Mormons..... Mormons go....yeah well, you Christians THINK you know it all, but you're idiots......Sigh.....Everyone wants their special status as God's saving grace...can you see how stupid it all is when Christ came, died and rose again for ALL!

It's pretty awesome when science tries, but can't, get around God.... It's even better is when they have to admit that God is real.... Amen! Scientists who do not believe in God are very narrow minded and usually very self-centered. They are the center of their own universe, so, that begs the question--How much more is out there proving Our Creator that they're not telling us about?....Think about it.... It's impossible to control or manipulate someone who first puts their trust in God before people....It is for this reason our Founding Fathers set "freedom of religion" as number 1 in the Bill of Rights, even before "freedom of speech." People of the world do not like people who serve Jesus Christ because we cannot be controlled and are unpredictable moving only according to the Father's will and not according to the wills of people. For the control freaks of the world, that makes us dangerous......LOL!

What didn't Lehi do?

Lehi stays on the path and has a snack off of the Tree of Life...... Jesus Christ said, I am The Way, The Truth and The Life, no one comes to The Father except through me.... (John 14:6). Narrow Path....Narrow Gate....etc..... The rod represents the law of The Father..... The key to Lehi;s vision is simple faith, and staying on the narrow path.... simple....right? Not really.....

Take ahold of the "rod of iron." Think about how significant that is given your recent general conference.

Let me give you an example.... 1 Nephi 8 (Lehi's Vision).... What don't you see Lehi do, but it is a major theology for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints?

Discovered that with Salt Lake City..... We've had agreements and disagreements..... Hanging up the phone works well.... mid sentence of course..... keeps people happy.... I like to ask hard theological questions... sometimes people are prepared to answer them and sometimes they are not prepared. It depends on the person. When you point out inconsistencies between a person's theology and what the books actually say, well, it makes for an uncomfortable conversation, but it's all done in love.

How do you know he is a true prophet? I have not had it confirmed to me...

It sounds to me like he doesn't even see the mark.... it's like he's completely missing the mark.... Jesus Christ..... 2 Laws.....Love God FIRST.....Love your neighbor as yourself.... where does all this other stuff come from? It's legalistic and suffocates faith... law of men.... I'm not hearing the law according to God in your story. Where is the love in your stake president's rigidity? Blessings

Hey All! Guess What! I came out of the closet as a Book of Mormon/Joseph Smith supporter.... I think it would have been better of I had come at as lesbian or something... People are afraid of you all for some stupid reason... I don't quite get it... They don't even want to look at what the Book of Mormon teaches... it's the other gospel they cry.... Hogwash! It highlights prophesy in the Bible... I'm not Mormon, but you all have something the rest of us really need to pay attention to... We seriously need to get over ourselves and talk to you all.... I am a protestant chaplain, retired from work but not from ministry or salvation. Nice to meet you all.
