Hey people, i'm just a little confused. We are told not to look at pornographic type things because it is obviously degrading the human body. However I discovered masturbating before I even knew what it was and that it is based off of sexual thoughts. However I never did it to sexual or pornographic type things. Is this still okay to do or is it a sin.
When i'm doing it, I experience absolutely no sexual desires or thoughts. I have been doing it for years and don't see anything wrong with it as it isn't changing my thoughts on sexual purity and I don't look at people in sexual ways. I see people exactly how we are taught too and don't materialise them. I just discovered this feeling I get when I was young and haven't stopped doing it.
If this is a sin, how serious is it considering my way of doing it.
