Listening to Elder Holland's talk, I wonder how much longer he will be with us. His mortal years may be nearing an end. I doubt I have more than 35 years left in my life before I pass on to the spirit world. Hopefully I can join the saints and prophets in paradise to sing praises to the Holy LORD God.

Perhaps it was taught earlier but the truths were forgotten when an era of apostasy came. The Apostle Paul knew of the three heavens as he specifically mentioned it in the second epistle to the Corinthians chapter 12.

I have read through the Inspired Version of the Bible. It is obvious to me Suzie, that the Inspired Version was never completed. But I rejoice in what the LORD did give us through the Prophet Joseph Smith.

There are some General Authorities that taught there is no progression between the kingdoms of glory. There are others that did teach there was progression between the kingdoms. There has been nothing revealed on this subject as doctrine. It is dangerous to teach that something is a truth when we just do not know. I personally assume there is no progression between the kingdoms of glory because if I am wrong then it does not matter. But if someone is continuing in sin, believing that they can just fix their salvation in the next life, they may be setting themselves up for eternal damnation. There are many scriptures warning everyone to not procrastinate the day of their repentance. Begin today to follow the LORD and do what He would have you do.

Joseph Smith was commanded to translate different parts of the Bible. The Pearl of Great Price contains some passages of the Inspired Version of the Bible. Some of the translation was restoration of old scripture and some of it was inspired additions. Thanks CV75 for the information. It had been about five years ago when I posted that so I forgot. Reading through the other comments on the previous posts it appears there is no answer for me. It will be one of those questions I will need to wait to find until later. Edit: Pondering over this I believe I found the answer. In 1979 the Re-Organized Church of Jesus Christ gave the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints permission to use the Inspired Version of the Bible. We put it into our King James Version Latter-Day Saint scriptures in the margins and into other extra study material in our Bibles around this time. The information I have been discussing probably was omitted by accident and so it is not in our scriptures. The Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible (Inspired Version) was never completed anyway according to Joseph Smith. Someday, in the future, we will be given the fullness of the scriptures including the sealed portion of the Book of Mormon when the world is ready for it. "And in that day that they shall exercise faith in me, saith the Lord, even as the brother of Jared did, that they may become sanctified in me, then will I manifest unto them the things which the brother of Jared saw, even to the unfolding unto them all my revelations, saith Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of the heavens and of the earth, and all things that in them are." -- Ether 4:7

This is regarding a correction of translation in the Bible concerning Luke chapter 23 verses 42-43. A thief hanging on the cross conversed with Jesus as He was also crucified next to him: 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. The Prophet Joseph Smith explained that this is a mistranslation; the Lord actually said that the thief would be with Him in the world of spirits. A correct translation of Luke chapter 23 verse 43 should read as follows according to Joseph Smith: "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in a world of spirits." In the spirit world the thief would hear the gospel of Jesus Christ preached to him. (See page 96 of the New Testament 2019 Come Follow Me – For Individuals and Families.) The Prophet Joseph Smith clearly taught this. Why is this not in the Inspired Version of the Bible or at least in our footnotes of the Latter-Day Saint edition of the King James Version?

I lament King David lost his exaltation because of his murder of Uriah. Doctrine & Covenants 132 verses 38 and 39 talks about this. Verse 39 says: " . . . he he hath fallen from his exaltation, and received his portion . . ." He was a good ruler the most part of his life and was humble most of time. I would not have had the faith at his age to face the mighty warrior Goliath and prevail. I would have likely also killed Saul if he were hunting me and trying to put me to death. David could have killed Saul a few times but said: "Destroy him not, for who can stretch forth his hand against the Lord’s anointed and be guiltless?” (I Samuel 26:9) It is sad how any of us can work so hard our entire lives to build something then begin to make bad decisions and lose our exaltation. Likely, David will receive the Telestial Kingdom because of his adultery and murder, but nothing has been revealed on his judgment. He was not resurrected when Christ began the first resurrection of the just.

Biggest differences in the degrees of glory revealed to us, that I read, is in the Celestial Kingdom we will all be part of eternal families, in likeness of families formed here in this mortal life. A father, mother and children. In the other two glories there are no eternal families like this. In my opinion, the lower degrees of glory will have congregations of people that have recreation and work together to accomplish goals. I think individual friendships will also exist in the lower glories, but there will be no marriages.

Every parable or symbol has limitations or boundaries. Try not to look beyond the mark with a symbol or parable. For example: Jesus Christ is the good shepherd. We are His sheep. Is Jesus planning on shearing off our wool and killing us someday for food?

Very little is revealed on the 2nd Heaven (Terrestrial Kingdom). We know there are different degrees in the Telestial and Celestial Kingdoms, but nothing is revealed on the Terrestrial. There are likely hundreds of degrees in Telestial Kingdom, but only three in the Celestial. The Telestial Kingdom will also have the most inhabitants according to my understand of Doctrine & Covenants 76 verse 109: "But behold, and lo, we saw the glory and the inhabitants of the telestial world, that they were as innumerable as the stars in the firmament of heaven, or as the sand upon the seashore;" I am grateful for all the light and knowledge revealed in Doctrine & Covenants Section 76.

Silver markets are being manipulated presently. Silver should be up to at least $34 per ounce, in my opinion. But, as of today, silver is close to $25.39 per ounce. All these fraud traders are selling their fake, paper silver certificates that are backed by nothing but lies of what silver they have in their vaults or safes. In 2021 J.P. Morgan paid $920,000,000 to settle an investigation into their manipulating the silver markets. They also paid an additional $15,700,000 lawsuit brought by other investors who said the manipulation had caused them significant financial losses. They are very likely still doing it today to the silver markets along with others.

I wonder if, or when, SpaceX will break the speed record for humans? The fastest astronauts have ever traveled is 24,816.1 miles per hour with the Apollo 10 space craft according to what I read. It was May 29th 1969 when that speed record was set. Going fast costs a lot of money.

In my estimate, I have paid around $51,000 into Social Security over my life of working and I will probably never collect it. Give the Federal Government control of part of your retirement funds. What could possibly go wrong? Social Security is the biggest Ponzi scheme ever created in my opinion.

There is plenty to complain about in life, but it does not bring joy. Gratitude for blessings in all that the LORD has given us brings joy. I need to work on this, a lot. People have short memories when they talk about January 6th 2021. In 2005, thirty-two Democrats in Congress including Barbara Boxer attempted overturn the results of the presidential election by objecting to Ohio's electoral votes in an attempt to elect John Kerry. In 2016, celebrities saturated the media asking in December that the State electors swing vote for Hillary Clinton in the presidential election instead of Donald Trump. Elections have been contested throughout history in America. They will continue to do so in the future as well as long as America exists.

I do not trust most of our elections now with the ballot harvesting, ballot curing and no identification in the current voting process. I am getting old too. A few more years and I get to retire. I wish. Likely nineteen more years of full time work ahead for me at least.

No bipartisan bill for American border security is needed. Biden could shut down the invasion very soon at the border if he wanted to. He reversed the border security and threw the door open for anyone to enter very soon after he was put into office. He has the authority to do it.

There is no way to tell. We do not research any of these invaders coming in. At best they are here for a better life. At worst they are here to loot the citizen's treasury, traffic in illegal drugs, slave trade and/or bring horrid change to America. If you cease to have borders, you will cease to be a nation in the future as you will lose control of your country.

Nikki Haley has a lot of Democrat money in her coffers. I highly doubt I would vote for her. She would probably side with the global, elite tyrants and keep pushing their control agenda. Meanwhile we have a lot of Chinese pouring over our open border into this country. Train and arm them and you have a small, hostile army inside America ready for action. It won't be small either if the border continues to stay open for whoever to invade.

One small part of my faith is the law of Entropy. The law of Entropy is the natural tendency of things to lose order. Left to its own devices, life will always become less structured. Sand castles get washed away. Weeds overtake gardens. Ancient ruins crumble. Cars begin to rust. People gradually age. With enough time, even mountains erode and their precise edges become rounded. The inevitable trend is that things become less organized. The Universe has so much order in it as do many things on this Earth. How did this get organized amid the chaos? My answer is the God of the Universe. The main reason I believe is the continual witness of the Holy Ghost in my life and my work with the LORD God. He is always there for me to help and lift me up. Daily prayer and scripture study keep me in touch with Him.
