  1. This video is about an hour long but it is Dusty Smith's amazing journey back into the Restored Church of Jesus Christ. In my opinion he may have had a translated being visit him at one point on his journey back into the faith. (I put the play speed at 1.25 while listening to it.) I would highly recommend this video to all. LDS Podcast "Latter-Day Lights" -- His 26-Year Fight AGAINST The Church, And How He Came Back! Dusty Smith's Story
  2. I liked this part of talk. They talked about visiting a Brother in India with his family who had been members of the church for many years. "On this visit to the Nulu home, we were accompanied by the mission president. He was there to interview Brother Nulu, his wife, and his children—for the parents to receive their endowments and be sealed and for the children to be sealed to their parents. We also presented the family with arrangements for them to travel to the Hong Kong, China Temple for these ordinances. They wept with joy as their long-awaited dream was to be realized."
  3. The only scriptures I can think of on this subject are the following: "Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence, and likewise also the wife unto the husband. The wife hath not power over her own body, but the husband; and likewise also the husband hath not power over his own body, but the wife. Defraud ye not one the other, unless it be with consent for a time only, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not through your lack of self-restraint." I Corinthians 7: 3-5 (21st Century King James Version) My own interpretation on these scriptures is husbands and wives should not be continually denying their spouse physical intimacy. They should seek guidance from the Holy Ghost on this subject. In the words of Spencer Kimball: "Even though sex can be an important and satisfactory part of married life, we must remember that life is not designed just for sex."
  4. My question is what will the Canadian government do to their people after they have confiscated their firearms? If a government disarms the common people they are no longer citizens but subjects.
  5. I hope to gather with the saints and other Christians and people that at least live the ten commandments in a place of safety when it gets really bad. I think sometime in the future society will fall apart and food will be worth its weight in gold. May the LORD preserve the righteous and may we escape all the wars and violence that will cover the Earth in the future.
  6. A relative updated the following on these girls on December 8th 2022: They are both home waiting on physical therapy. Don’t know when it will start. They have to heal some first. McKenna is in better shape. They say it will be at least a year before Emmaleigh will walk unaided. For now they are both wheel chair bound. The best news is that both of them will recover. It’s just going to take a little while.
  7. I think that is being done by Democrats and Republicans in many places across the country. We should be putting many restrictions on mail in voting and opening the voting polls in many, many places. Early voting should also be allowed for up two days prior to election day if you are showing up at the polls with proper identification. (No same day voter registration either. Voters should be registered to vote fifteen days or earlier before an election.) In my opinion allowing early voting for more than five days prior to the election is just not needed. But I am also for making election day a paid holiday for all workers except emergency personnel and poll workers. Almost everyone gets the whole day off from work to show up and vote if they wish.
  8. I agree with you Traveler on the following points: * Eliminate all pension funds for elected officials – including the president – they can draw social security benefits like the rest of us. * Limit that amount of aggregate time that any individual can serve in elected offices. * Elected officials receive the same medical benefits at the same medical facilities as those active in the military. * All elected officials must provide a complete and accurate list of everyone they met with; on a daily basis. There can be an exception for listing individual at public meetings open to the press. * All voters must register to vote - no automatic registering to vote It would probably also be a good idea to purge the voting rolls every five to eight years. People would then need to re-register to vote with proper identification and papers that show a person is a United States Citizen such as a birth certificate or naturalization papers. I 100% agree Congress members should have limited terms. Senators can serve up to twelve years and they are done. House members can serve eight years and they are done. Once a person reaches eight years total in Congress (House of Representatives or the Senate) they can no longer run for office in Congress.
  9. I am calling for using any peaceful means possible currently. We still have most of the State governments on the side of the 2nd Amendment and the Supreme Court I think. Someone needs to really challenge these wicked red flag gun confiscation laws. Citizens are being denied their 2nd, 5th and 6th Amendment rights under these laws and there are about 19 States that have these laws on the books currently. I read in Florida if your 2nd Amendment rights and private firearms are stripped from you without your day in court you get no attorney unless you hire your own, and a one in six chance of getting your 2nd Amendment rights back. They want you to prove that you are not a threat before giving you back your 2nd Amendment liberties. Unless you are a cripple, confined to a wheelchair without use of your limbs then everyone is a potential threat. Under the 6th Amendment citizens have these listed rights: * Right to trial by an impartial jury * Right to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation * Right to be confronted with the witnesses against him * Right to have a process for obtaining witnesses in his favor * Right to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense. Red flag gun confiscation laws deny all or many of these rights to American citizens.
  10. If Republicans also begin ballot harvesting our elections will become simply a matter of who can cheat the most by using this process to cast ballots. (Maybe if Republicans began to do this and began to win elections perhaps the Democrats would want to go back to old system with showing up at the voting polls with identification to cast a ballot.) As I said before, I believe mail in voting without a voter soliciting for absentee ballots makes it a lot easier to commit voter fraud and never be held accountable for it.
  11. "Respect for Marriage Act" was signed into law today. This will not lead to good things. The rot inside this country continues to get worse. I believe it will get better eventually but things will get a lot worse before they better. We have a long and dark night to go through in America before the morning arrives.
  12. I feel the need to expose this subject so apologize in advance for de railing the original post. The damage the Biden administration is doing to this country far outweighs this one minor positive thing. They have done many things that are not good for America but I wish to point out and focus on only one subject presently. The worst thing this administration has helped encourage across America from what I have discovered in my research has been done with cooperation of the Democrat party in many States. They are doing great harm to election integrity in many States. And many of these voting changes have not been passed by State legislators and signed into law. They are seeking to render election day almost irrelevant in many States by legalizing millions of early mail-in ballots, (voting done without showing any identification). Some States have also normalized ballot harvesting and ballot curing. Voting should be done from the polls where participants have registered at least a few weeks in advance and where valid identification is shown to help ensure integrity. Same day election voter registration can be easily abused. If participants wish to vote by mail they should be required to solicit for an absentee ballot at least 28 days before each election unless they are in the military and voting from abroad to help prevent fraud. Voting machines that count votes also should not be connected to the Internet to ensure security and be guarded to ensure audits can take place if needed. Paper ballots or receipts should be used to help with election integrity even if voters use voting machines. Ballot harvesting is the practice in which political operatives collect absentee ballots from voters’ homes and drop them off at a polling place or election office. It may sound pretty innocuous, but this practice can and has been abused across the country. There is very little security ensuring that a ballot has not been tampered with, discarded or voters bribed or illegally influenced if operatives are allowed to collect absentee ballots and then cast them. Ballot curing should also be done away with. Ballot curing allows mail ballots that are typically rejected and left uncounted largely as the result of voter errors help voters fix their mail ballots if they do make a mistake. If you cannot correctly fill out a mail in ballot without errors show up at the polls and vote.
  13. Too bad it takes more energy to make nuclear fusion than it gives off presently. Here is to hoping that nuclear fusion can become a power source soon that we can use. I doubt we are close to discovering this though. Nuclear fission with Thorium seems like a good source of power from what I have studied. I have also heard one way humanity can dispose of nuclear waste is very deep drilling into the Earth in a stable region. The waste would be placed so deep that once the hole is sealed the waste would very likely remain undisturbed for over tens of thousands of years.
  14. It may be too late by then. Give up your right to self defense and you may get relocated and or have everything stripped from you. The time to stand up against tyranny is when you have a large group of people willing to stand up.
  15. If you know anyone wanting to get into the Federal Bureau of Investigations I would advise otherwise. The organization has not gone in a good direction in recent years.
  16. I am posting this for someone that I have association with on another forum. I am requesting prayers for them. His story is below: November 30th 2022: Today, Paul Lipford, Emmaleigh Massey, and Mckenna Massey were in a serious car accident. Emmaleigh has a broken back, broken pelvis, broken leg, and a few internal organ injuries. McKenna has a broken pelvis, and we are still waiting for the remainder of her results. Emmaleigh was transported to Charlotte earlier today, and we are waiting on transport for McKenna now. Paul is shaken up and hurting pretty bad but ok. Please keeps us all in your thoughts as we navigate these next several weeks and make sure that they get the best care possible. They have both been transported to Charlotte for higher care and possible surgeries today." December 2nd 2022: "Mckenna Massey was released tonight. Her pelvis is broken in 5 places, and she has some broken toes and a very bad swollen/bruised/sprained ankle. She is 100% reliant on someone else to help her do all tasks such as bathing, moving locations, showers et cetera. she will be in a wheelchair for a while, other than for small moves such as transfer to bed/chair/et cetera. She is still in a lot of pain but is trying her hardest to stay mobile as much as possible to try to avoid a being wheelchair bound long term. Emmaleigh Massey is still in the hospital but has finally gotten a room on the children’s trauma floor. This is amazing because the adult trauma intensive care unit was very difficult for her. Her back is broken in 2 places, her pelvis is broken in 1 place, and her leg is broken on the left side. She does still have some internal bleeding from the lacerations on her spleen, kidney, and liver, which may require some intervention and/or blood transfusion. That is being watched closely, and hopefully we will know what they have decided to do to fix the bleeding tomorrow. Today they also found that she had a few blood clots in her right arm, so even though she has some internal bleeding, she had to be put on blood thinners to prevent issues with the clots. PT was able to get her up onto her feet today for the first time, but she was only able to stay up a short time and taking steps was very hard without someone to assist with pushing her feet forward to make each step. But being up with a broken back, pelvis, and leg is taking huge steps forward in her recovery. There is no real talk yet about when she may come home, but when she does she will be reliant on a wheelchair for several months probably. PT will help her through this and will work with her daily on getting back to walking as soon as she is able. She is scared and having a lot of fear about what has happened and what will happen in the future as well. Girls picture is below:
  17. I 100% agree with this. Opening the windows of heaven to have blessings poured out does not mean temporal blessings always. The greatest gift is eternal life with Heavenly Father. What greater gift can God give one of us? However, in paying my tithing I have seen many times the LORD rebuke the devourer for my sake. I believe I cannot afford to not pay my tithing.
  18. I do not think any new citizen gun restrictions will pass within the next two years. That is good in my opinion. We do not need anymore citizen gun restrictions, just enforce what is already on the books. (Some gun restrictions also need to go away like short barrel rifle and shotgun laws in my opinion. These types of firearms are good home defense weapons that should not require a Class III license with a lot of restrictions on them that criminals will continue to ignore.) The White House is doing everything it can to hurt and take rights and liberties away from the common people in since January 2020. They want semi automatic rifles gone from the common populace as they wish to exercise unrighteous dominion over us.
  19. I electronic mailed my Senators and told them to vote against the "Respect for Marriage Act" as it would violate religious freedom. As usual Mike Lee voted against it and Mitt Romney voted for it.
  20. If your brother in law is not practicing homosexuality then he is not gay. He likely has a same sex attraction that he controls and he lives his life like a saint if he is worthy to get a temple recommend.
  21. This reminds me of the film: The R.M. The main character Jared walks in on a multi-level marketing meeting with his parents. Jared: Are you guys doing Nuskin? Mom: Jared! We don't use that word. What they were marketing was: LD3 - Latter-Day Discount Distributors.
  22. I loved the movie Pursuit of Happyness. In the past I have watched it several times. I also read that drug problems helped push him into homelessness. Bottom line for the film in the message it is pushing (in my opinion) is to have good goals, review them often and never stop working towards them despite hardships and obstacles.
  23. We can send about $40,000,000,000 to Ukraine to help them secure their country and border but the Biden administration is just ignoring the mass influx of illegal aliens and drugs pouring into our country. It is disgusting in my opinion. I read an average of 280 Americans per day are dying from fentanyl drugs that is pouring over the southern border.
  24. I hope the Ukraine war will end soon. There are so many lives that have been needlessly wasted over this conflict.
  25. After seeing the 2022 election results I think I need some of that white powder you are all talking about. Yes, I am joking.
