One small part of my faith is the law of Entropy.
The law of Entropy is the natural tendency of things to lose order. Left to its own devices, life will always become less structured. Sand castles get washed away. Weeds overtake gardens. Ancient ruins crumble. Cars begin to rust. People gradually age. With enough time, even mountains erode and their precise edges become rounded. The inevitable trend is that things become less organized.
The Universe has so much order in it as do many things on this Earth.  How did this get organized amid the chaos?  My answer is the God of the Universe.
The main reason I believe is the continual witness of the Holy Ghost in my life and my work with the LORD God.  He is always there for me to help and lift me up.  Daily prayer and scripture study keep me in touch with Him.

The only real way to know about the things of God are spiritually, by prayer.  Only the faith of the 1847 Pioneers got them across the Plains to Utah.  That faith was hard earned through Prayer.
    The invitation of Moroni:
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would aask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not btrue; and if ye shall ask with a csincere heart, with dreal intent, having efaith in Christ, he will fmanifest the gtruth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may aknow the btruth of all things.

From my understanding in the pre-existence there were three divisions or parts of the many spirit sons and daughters of God there.  These three parts were the following:
    1 - The valiant spirits
2 - The less valiant spirits
    3 - The rebellious spirits
The rebellious were cast out with Lucifer and the heavens wept over them.  The valiant and less valiant spirits will enter this life, receive mortal bodies and be tested to see if they will keep their second estate by following Christ.

21 And verily I say unto you, that ye are they of whom I said: Other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
22 And they understood me not, for they supposed it had been the Gentiles; for they understood not that the Gentiles should be converted through their preaching.
23 And they understood me not that I said they shall hear my voice; and they understood me not that the Gentiles should not at any time hear my voice—that I should not manifest myself unto them save it were by the Holy Ghost.

My daughter wrote a note to God wanting to know an answer to her prayer. She was disappointed when He did not write back. Now I know what to get her for her birthday so she can get that answer!

To be fair, I have no idea how brother Rush lives the gospel and I'm not about to speculate against him when I have absolutely no evidence against him.  The observations I made pointed out possible concerns, for which there could be other explanations, and which would require more reading to determine the truth.  That he has chosen to delve into this vision doesn't in any way suggest that he's not magnifying his calling, ministering to others, doing temple work for his deceased ancestors, or striving to share the gospel.
Once I came to understand that one of Satan's titles is "the accuser of our brethren", I have tried hard not to accuse people.  If my wording here seemed like accusations, this is me revoking them.  I believe that making accusations, especially in ignorance, which would certainly be the case here, can give Satan a way into your heart or mind.  We can live the gospel and encourage others to do the same without making accusations.  We can choose not to pursue brother Rush's interests without accusing brother Rush of anything at all.

I also don't think Rush is an apostate etc.  I don't even think he is extreme.  He came up with a plausible explanation and we will see if he got it right or not.

He still has a shot at being correct.  If Biden is removed from office (death, impeachment, resignation, etc.) the pattern appears to be correct.  If that doesn't happen, then it apparently was a false interpretation.
We don't have too long to wait.

I think the problem is actual priestcraft.  There is a difference between priestcraft and other arts.
Priestcraft is the art of being a priest.  You get paid to be the one who has the authority to perform religious ceremony and acts.  In essence, you are being paid to perform ordinances, to tell people they are forgiven, to run the religion or run the church.
In Priestcraft you are being paid to be the Priest.  You are paid to be the one preaching sermons and telling people what the scriptures say.  You are being paid to tell them when they are forgiven, and to give the ordinances to them (sacraments, etc).  You are being paid to do what the Lord gives away for free.  You are trying to be paid to hand out salvation.
If you are writing uplifting books, music, or other items, IN MY OPINION, that falls under the category of other arts or crafts.  It's the craft of writing or the art of being a musician or painter or other facet.  You are working on something that benefits others.  It is not seeking to be paid to profit off of ordinances or the materials thereof, but to uplift people and inspire with your works of art.  It is a different field entirely (once again, IN MY OPINION).
If no one makes uplifting material, than those of us who try to find uplifting material to read or listen to will not have anything to read or listen or see or watch.
It's like other artists and such, but you do it in the spirit of making uplifting and righteous material rather than that which pleases the world.

This is what Christmas is about, not a new Lexus in the driveway with a big red bow on it.  I get so tired of the advertisements telling everyone to go out and buy gifts and more stuff.  Christmas is about Christ; the King of kings and LORD of lords.

Yes, well, it's hard to know what exactly to do, especially when you're not directly involved, nor a person of influence.  I can post all the day long in Instagram about how awful it is to have drag queens teaching 6yos how to become drag queens themselves, but no one's going to pay any attention to me.

This was the end goal of hate speech and hate crimes.  What is hate speech or hate crimes?  Whatever the tyrants enforcing these laws believe is such.
All hate speech and hate crimes laws should be abolished.  A crime is a crime.  We do not need to enhance a sentence for a crime because it was done in hate.

I am for positive media and messages.  Two more days and The Oath movie is released in about 650 theatres across America.  It is a movie about Moroni directed by Darin Scott.  The website is here.  The movie trailer for this film is here:

It is a moral decision when you take money or goods from one person and give it to another.
And if you pay people with able bodies and minds to not work then many will not.  Making people uncomfortable in their poverty may motivate more of them to put efforts in to get out of poverty.

I believe things will start getting better in America when many people begin turning back to the LORD.  Someone invited over half a million people to make a covenant with God recently and ask that the LORD heal our land.  If Latter-Day Saints are following their covenants they have made they can also begin to pray that the LORD will heal our land.

I find it interesting that the passage uses the phrase "voice of the people" rather than "majority" or some similar term or phrase.  While the intent might have been the same, I wonder.  The supposed "silent majority" in the US may well be silently riding the minority's handbasket to hell.  Meanwhile, the "voice" is all from that minority, screaming and shouting at the top of its lungs, rapidly picking off and intimidating the silent majority.  And as soon as said "voice" feels safe, feels confident that the majority is now on their side, rest assured that any who have held on to the views of the previous majority will be persecuted beyond our current imagining.

Sorry. I wasn't suggesting Secondhand Lions was and Angel Studios movie. I can see how that came across though. I was just using another example of a studio that has made movies that aren't crude but are also quality entertainment.

    Yes, it can be difficult.
I had thought Secondhand Lions was just a small time film that didn't do all that well at the box office.  But our eccentric family just happened to love in.
Then I started noticing how many people have come to our home shouting praises over this film.  I've stopped counting.
