I have a few more minutes today to give some of my background. My username relates to my high school athlete number and the butterflies I have collected since grammar school. I joined the church 6 years ago with my husband. In my past life before becoming a mother of two, I worked as a journalist for 8 years and a seventh grade middle school reading teacher. I am from the New England area. I enjoy gardening, reading, and taking walks. I have a calling in the primary. In peeking around the boards, I find the content informative, funny, and relaxed. I look foward to sharing and learning from all of you.

Your poetry is good. Your last name is the same as a missionary who was part of my conversion to the church 6 years ago. He was from UT and has recently married.

Was doing some internet surfing and found this forum on FAIR. Not sure how much I'll log on, but it looked interesting.
Look forward to reading all that is posted.
Reverence Tips

I know in my ward it is loud because that is the example set by the adults. My personal belief (although I am quilty of breaking it) is that the chapel should be a "quiet" place to prepare to be with the spirit of the Lord. People should take their everyday chatter out to the hallway. Once one conversation starts everyone is competing with each other. Of course being on time for church helps with reverence too
