  1. I created a channel. Here's a step-by-step on how to get in: 1) Download a IRC client like mIRC (I also hear there's an IRC plug-in that can run directly in Firefox, maybe someone else knows more about this.) 2) Open mIRC. In the line at the bottom where you can enter text, type "/server irc.webchat.org -j #MountZion" (without the quotes). Alternatively you could type "/server", which connects you to the server, and then type "/join #MountZion". 3) That's about it. Obviously there's not really any active users there yet, but you can get a taste of it.
  2. IRC is more stable, doesn't have restrictions on time, etc., and we don't need it to be dependent on a particular website since we hope to gather chatters from a variety of LDS message boards and groups.
  3. Hey guys-- Me and some others were considering creating an IRC channel for Latter-day Saints and their friends. I know there used to be some popular ones several years ago but none are around anymore. If this is something that you might be interested in, let us know. Obviously we want to know if people would participate before we set one up. Thanks! :)
  4. Personally I doubt if the Three Witnesses even understand the distinct nature of the Godhead at that time; unless I'm mistaken, David Whitmer pretty much remained a Trinitarian his life.
  5. Hey all, We've set up the website The Army of Helaman - Latter-day Saint Missionaries hoping we can turn it into a resource and place of discussion for member-missionaries. We've barely launched but I thought I'd ask you guys to check it out and tell us what you think. Suggestions, ideas, likes, dislikes, etc. We will keep expanding the website over the coming days. Thanks!
  6. Electric slide all the way. Coast to coast or sea to sea?
  7. Want to come to our branch?
  8. What does vegging mean? lol Are you from down under? Probably camping. Star Wars or Star Trek?
  9. No, I'm down here in Louisiana...=/
  10. Hey everybody, just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a teenage LDS in the South...fun stuff. Recently discovered blogging. That's about it.
  11. Missionary work online is a lot different than in real life, simply because people have easy access to anti-Mormon websites and a copy&paste button.
