    Hi :)

Hi welcome. Wonderful that you are beeing babtized!
  2. HI Hannah I am always 21 Wellcome ... enjoy the forum... my 18 year old cames to me often and says: Mom you are 21 right.... then I know he wants something.
  3. Wecome, enjoy the site... I once had two wonderfull sweet little boys myself... not they are over a head taller.... hugg them while they are smaller than you then they will hugg you even as tehy are taller than you!
  4. I love to fish too. Welcome enjoy the forum.
  5. The only way to jazz up is to get more spirituality. How to get that is an other question. For smaller kids adn some yout it is good if they have somethign with them they can do while listening. Meaning that they do somethign that allows them to listen, something that dont take their taughts away... like colouring... Some kids even have with a comicbook.... or snacks like nuts and rasins. I dont think kids need to sit still without anythign to do before they are able to do it. For older kids you could try to find ONE thing in each speach that was good, interesting or spiritual or somethign you did not understand. Just one thign and record it and then you can see at home if you found anything. We always have a speach by a youth as first speach. I think everyone speaks with the aboility they ahve andx if they pray they get help and manage to make something worth listening in their speach even if they would be a not so good a speaker. Music is good and sometimes it is nice to have an extra musicpeace in the meeting... but not like always! Meetings are what you make of them! And if you think it is dull ... you cant expect so much from the kids, they sence your feelings all too easy.
  6. What ever you do remember that getting fysical belong to the marriage!, even long kisses do. IF you do that before marriage you WILL be in big trouble and get all of you in a big trouble. Just stay on dating as long as you KNOW which one you want to have as your ETERNAL wife and STICK to it!
  7. A friend of mine has started suggaplanting in ... one of the South American countries so the peopel ther can get legal money. He sells the brown suggar in Finland also a sepcial salt. Thus he helps the indians and they do not need to plant drugs. The farmers dont get that much from drugs either.. it is just the druglords that get rich not the people.
  8. Close the boarder and build the American Wall You are allowed to protect yourself! Unless the Mexcican governement asks for help... not wise to do anything and then also they should ask help from UN not America.
  9. Always glat to be of assistance You get the whipping and viking howl and pope extra I hope that is ok!?
  10. My son is coming back in September... probably August because of the studies.... I never had any panic of him going. I know he is in Gods hands, where better place could he be! Maybe I had tought different IF he had been to USA or in Africa or Asia or south America.. ENJOY it! Not everyone is even allowed to go. Congrats for the decition
  11. Hi Sarah and welcome. I heard UK got some snow.... I am from Norway. Enjoy!
  12. I agree talk to bishop. You know Church has been very good in helping people with bad moneysituations. There is always a way out of financial troubles. What you need most to do is to forgive yourself. It is hard, but you need to see that; ok... I did not quite manage to be the man you wanted to be. Quess what you will get a new start! I been there. Lost a kid, lost a job, was lied of, no friends. I was standing in the kitchen by the window with a big nife in my hand.. then I saw in my mind my kids coming home from school and finding me. I cried and hit the knife hard on the table. I could not do it because of my kids. Today I am happy I did not do it, even though life has not changed so very much. It is not worth it. Forget yourself and live for others.

    Hello

Welcome from Scandinavia. I hope you enjoy this site. Will see your blog later... I like your avatar picture. I used to be a Lutheran. I am happy that the missionaries found me, even though the Lutheran Church was ok adn I was active there too.
  15. Welcome. I hope you find this site interesting and get to brush up your LDS knowledge. Enjoy the forum... btw.. you can also go to www.byu.tv and be with a churchservice on Sundays and otherways too see a lot about LDS.
  16. Hi welcome. My husband and I are pioners, our sons are first generation. My oldest is now on a mission. We love this Church. We were Lutherans before. I hope you enjoy this site!
  17. Hi welcome. I am happy to hear you feel that the site can answer your questions... enjoy!
  18. Hi and well come. Remember always be careful on teh internett there are a lot decieving sites that look like real mormon sites. We try to keep this forum correctly LDS, but there are a lot of differences of opinion even in LDS memebers too of things that are not directly our doctorin. You can also ask me by PM of sites you are not sure of... as links to those sites are not allowed in this forum. Mostly you notice who is who by the writting. Wrong sites gives you a funny or sick feeling.
  19. Hello and welcome. I hope beeing on this site will help you.
  20. Welcome. I hope you find answers to your questions. Comgrats for the add in the family. Only me and my husband and our kids are mormons in our big family.
  21. Not to believe in God is not the same as not knowing there is a God. IF you dont believe in something, you have to have somekind of a knowledge that there is such a thign as God. Not believeing Him is turning Him down. I think sinn is what you inside know as a sin. A thing can be a sinn to me but not to you. Even though we would have the same laws in the Bible to follow, yet some of us are able to understand on a higher level, as others are fighting just to understgand the minimals. I believe it all depends on our level of understganding. IF we are on a level to understand something to be sinn... but still do it, we sinn. But on an other hand we are here to learn, it is our biggest task. If we refuse to learn, we do not fullfill our task in life.... I suppose that is a sinn too... but God dont ask us more than we are able to deliver, but he does ask our utmost. We all have the same God at the end. Different religions just stress different aspects.
  22. Obviosly they forgot one word from teh list.... atheists!
  23. I been around on the internett for some 10 years defending the LDS Church. During this time I heve noticed a few changes in the way antimormons work. First was the demand of calling those who question the Church for critics not anties. Calling anties critics has lowered the stabdard of critics a lot. There are some respectable critics who question the teachings of LDS, but some "critics" dont deserve that name. Why not? I think the biggest difference is that a critic listens to the answers and go on from them, while an anti keeps repeating himself. Second the attacs are not so filled with direct hate and dispice as before. Instead the antifront has adopted a much more undirect form: The wolves in sheep clothing. It is not weird as netsites like this ban people directly hostile to our religion right away, so tehy really dont get anywhere with this hostality. But today is tolerance IN. IF the request of "tolerance" is not reached they will scream in loud voice that we, LDS, are not allowing the freedom of word! In the world of today that is considered a very bad thing not to be able to write what one wishes, question what one wishes. Is it nessesary... is it nessessary to question things about LDS on an LDS discusition? Ofcourse anyone can have questions... the problem here is you NEVER know if the questions are asked by someone who is here in order to NOT TO find out the answer, but to spread confusion. Once read words are difficult to brush away. Ofcourse these people are the innocense themselves! It is too bad there really is not anythign we can do to protect peopel fex on this forum from those wolves. We know they are there. They lie in wait to decieve. How ever there IS somethings YOU can do. One; if a subject of a thread feels wrong... go to read something else Two; STUDY the BASICS. Dull? Done it so many times? Yes it may be so, but IF you have a smallest doubt of anythig of the basics you have a problem. Three; Read scriptures, and pray, you will find the answer. Four; Froget yourself and serve others, strengthen others so you wilol be strengthened. In order to find answers search/read LDS.org scriptures search with words. Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship - Home Book of Mormon Archaeological Forum ask Contacting FAIR FAIR wikipedia is good for those who can handle a bit harder stuff. In the world of today we mods are trying to keep the discusition sites nice, but we do need YOUR help. So when ever you see a questionable post, blogg PLEASE help us and click on the red flag on the right site of the post and let us know why you think it was not a nice post. Remember what this netsite is like depends on YOU. We also want to know what you think about LDS.net. What can we do better (NO NAMES OR FINGER POINTS!) Even though it is not allowed to critizise the mods we stil can take some suggestiones that can make the site better... I hope... I see that the LDS.neters have become more and more questioning of the basic beliefs trough some stuff that is not important at all... but that some manage to make sound as the most important thigs in LDS theology. In the end... KEEP STRONG! I heard it all ... but 99% is just lies!
