1. Hello!!! We are Team Family Wall. We are a quirky and goofy Mormon family of 5. My wife and I are both lifetime members. I served a mission in Brazil and my wife served a mission in Taiwan. After returning home from our missions, we hid our real selves away in fear of being ridiculed by self-righteous Mormons. Unless you are one of them, you know who I'm talking about!! Recently, we decided that we would put our real selves out there and let the haters hate and the "judgers" judge. We now have a daily blog chronically our lives and our journey to allow our real selves to be seen. Our journey has led to a lot of joy and happiness!!! It is liberating to be yourself and no longer fear what others are going to say about you. If you have felt the same way... if you have been afraid to be yourself in fear of the self-righteous, come join us in our journey and in life's adventures! Here is our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/TeamFamilyWall We would love to build a community of members and nonmembers who struggle to be themselves because of cultural norms. Hope to hear from you!!! Team Family Wall
 2. I've created a blog to connect with others who are Latter Day Saints and to offer support or advice for other LDS' - specifically younger converts or members as I believe especially in the world today we are surrounded by sin and awful temptation (I am 18 by the way and female) This is the website - Choose The Right I also offer others to come forward with their stories and testimonies :)
 3. I know this is the wrong place for this, but I can't figure out where the blog sub-thread is, so Pam, Heather, or whomever please move this to the appropriate thread. If the whole post is inappropriate for this site, please delete the thread and reprimand me in whichever way you deem proper. (But please don't delete my account because I like it here!)

Mom knows that I'm active online, and so I'm trying to promote her new blog. I'll admit I'm a tad shameful about it, but I want to get the message out, because it makes me look like a hero. /blush. The blog covers travel, nail beauty (polish and such), and knitting.

This is a disclaimer that this blog is not written by an LDS woman, nor is it really following "lds standards". But I am LDS, and I follow LDS standards. So please help me out and at least check it out. Thanks!

Here is the link:

three things

 5. Hey everyone! It's been awhile since I've been on here. This week I had a feeling that I should start a new blog up about being a single girl in a community of predominately Latter- Day Saint people, and the struggles that come with it. I want to focus on how the Gospel and Atonement have helped me as I've been on this journey. I'm not sure how else to share this with people, so I thought I'd post it here. Just an Ordinary, Single Mormon Girl Do any of you have similar blogs? Or any blog that you would want to share with the lds.net community? Or maybe a blog that you've read that you thought was great? I'd love to start reading them!
 6. So I have recently done research on the Mid 1800 Deseret Alphabet that was created by Brigham Young. I found it really interesting so I'm posting a link to my article. It's always fun to decipher things such as this - one of the four books published by The University of Deseret (Now University of Utah) which helps you learn the alphabet. Thoughts? Efforts at translation? To see the article (more of the History, an explanation of why and how, and more neat pictures) see my blog post below. The Sign of Jonas: Church History Q&A: Did Brigham Young really try to implement a secret Deseret Language?
 7. Hey all, I am a blogger, a few acquaintances and myself are creating a new LDS blog called The Sign of Jonas. I have just recently joined this forum but I think this is probably one of the best places to find interested authors/readers as there are a lot of intelligent self-motivated people on here. We are currently looking to recruit more authors for this blog, the following is an a brief explanation of the blog if you are interested. This blog isn't like the other ones you've seen though: ours is a multi-authored, scholarly blog, with a main focus on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The format of this blog is simple: One post by one of the authors every Sunday. For you, that means you'll only have to post one of your pieces every month and a half or so. And what would your posts be about? A relatively general, umbrella, Gospel-related topic that interests you! To help with brainstorming, some of these topics could be: Early Apostolic Christianity, Prophecies of the Prophet Joseph Smith, World Religions, Evidences of the Book of Mormon, Epistles of Paul. Also, if you have any specialties we should be aware of (intimate knowledge of another religion - as a former member or as an area of studied focus), please don't hesitate to tell us. OK, so what if you aren't terribly interested in being a full-time author on this blog? That's perfectly fine! We have facilitated our calendar so as to incorporate Guest Authors! If you're interested, but not in a full-time gig, then this is for you - in which case all you have to do is follow the links to the blog below and fill out an application form. You know about the blog, you know the basics, and now the only thing left to do is apply (see here)! For more details on what your responsibilities would be as an author, read this. To give us sufficient time to sort through applications and get you all set up on our blog, we ask that you send in your applications (to the e-mail found at the bottom of the blog posts, [email protected]) before May 31, 2010. It is anticipated that the official launch for this blog will be June 6th, 2010. Thanks! Also if you have suggestions or anything just reply to the thread, or visit The Sign of Jonas Forum - - - - - - - - - - - - - Lynden Jensen Check Out My blog at The Sign of Jonas
