Well, it seems that it's been downgraded to a Tropical Storm. Hopefully any who were directly in it's path are safe. The friends I have in the Panhandle were fortunate. It appeared they were directly in it's path but supposedly they only got on the West side of it and it grazed them. Winds were higher but nothing like what hit Panama City and Mexico Beach. The crazy thing was it was still a Cat 3 Hurricane when it hit Georgia. Thus far all I've heard is about downed trees and power outages. They had one radio/communications tower that fell over and the A from Alabany State University fell off of a building. Albany areas sounds like it got hit hardest, some windows blown out. Still, crazy that it hit Georgia. Hopefully the Saints are safe and good. Edit: Sounds like I was wrong, it sounds like an 11 yr old girl was killed when debris crashed into her home. Sounds like it may have been Florida instead of Georgia though. At least one other death in Florida as well. Billboards were also blown over in the Albany area.

In Florida, the church owns what Orlando broker Trevor Hall says "may be the state's largest piece of privately owned undeveloped real estate." The 315,000-acre Deseret Ranches, bought in the 1950s, is home to orange groves and cattle. But its location, about five miles southeast of booming Orlando, has caused its value to jump. The church is planning to build a community with 5,000 homes and 4,200 apartments, plus schools, offices and stores. Source So, wanna live near the city of Enoch one day? It was noted that this source was from 1991 Here's an update

Hello everyone! I wanted to take a second to introduce myself: I'm a student with my wife up here in the pseudo-arctic Rexburg, studying mathematics. I've been here for a few years, served a mission in Mexico, born and raised in the Tampa Bay area (Florida). I grew up in the church and had many wonderful leaders and friends to help me along the way. Are there any fellow mathematicians or people with an appreciation for nerdy humor? Peace and love~
