  1. I am wondering how much of this ideology is still accepted by today's society? Is the "Me Too" movement causing many people to determine that men are no longer needed by women? How is 1 Corintians 11 still relevant in today's society and/or church culture without being looked like a misogynist? My understanding is this: Man's head (authority come from) is Christ Woman is Man's glory Woman's glory is her hair How is this ideology going to bring people to the truth when it causes many woman to be cautious of men due to the current universal feeling of womanhood and it's rise in "equality"?
  2. Today I heard a program in which Michael Medved said that 70% of all FIRST TIME marriages stay intact until the death of one of the couple. We've been told for at least 30 years that the figure was only 50%...a lie that conflates 2nd+ marriages with first ones, to create the false illusion that divorce is uber-normal, and probably inevitable. As we see marriage redefined, family increasingly treated as an unimportant, if not oppressive social construct, perhaps the best we can do is continue to enjoy our children, our spouses, and the special fulfillment we share as we grow together, bound by the love of our God. There is no arrogance here. Every day I am humbled by my wife and children. Their love and acceptance of me is amazing. Their reaction to my feeble efforts at husbanding and fathering are gracious (and merciful). I love them, and thank God for the honor He's given me to play my role. May the deposits we make, as an intact family, into our areas of influence lead many to look to and glorify God.
  3. There is, has and always will be good in the very souls of all, for all of those souls are good. I believe that as many are seen good many shall be thus. All of mankind are truly great and therefore they can all do many great and marvelous things, in this knowledge we shall see the wisdom in the marvelous, never ending glory of god to giving us all love. I am ever grateful for the amazing gift of love that we all have, do and will receive for the very existence holds all degrees as a gift from the very love of the father and proves of his love. “There is much to be seen in the eyes of all men, the wise man sees the very glory of potential ... in all.” “I pray that through all we do, all we see, all we become, we always believe in more. There is always more!” Love is the very reason we live, this is why always we must love. There is much in this great world and what defines it is what we see. Let all love, dream and bring forth the very peace of the spirit, then all shall see. I know of this great and marvelous blessing. Let us pray, live and love... that all may know that all may see.
