I'm Tegan; I'm a member of the Church of England but have grown up around LDS members; I've always been interested in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and their beliefs which is why I'm doing my dissertation on Christians and marketing with a focus on Latter Day Saints. I've grown up not feeling represented for my beliefs in society as a whole and in marketing which is why I wanted to do this for my research. After doing some interviews with LDS members, I felt like getting more of an insight into Latter Day Saints' beliefs is insanely important for the future of marketing. I would be beyond grateful for anyone to do my survey (I've posted it below) or just to reply to this post with what is the most important aspect of their faith and why. Christians and MarketingThank you in advance to anyone that does my survey or replies to this post and I can't wait to learn more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Third Hour

Ok guys, we have a new poster name Byron whom seems like a really nice guy trying to get the honest story. Unfortunately other people have told him some completely-off-base stuff. So let’s take turns telling him what Mormons DO believe. I’ll start out— I, as a Mormon, believe full heartedly in God. I believe in the Father, whom created me and this world. I believe in the Son, Jesus Christ, whom lived a perfect life and died as a sacrifice for my sins. He is my redeemer and my Lord. I believe in the Holy Ghost, whom witnesses of truth and comforts me when I cry. I believe that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost together are God: united completely as 1 in purpose, love, and will (not substance).

Hi im a religious studies uni student and have some questions about Morminism What would you say is the most important quality for a person to poses to be? Seen as good in God eyes? What does the title elder signify within the Mormon religion? How does a person become an elder within the Mormon religion? Do you believe that it is possible for atheists to gain salvation provided that they have tried to live a good and moral life despite the fact they reject the existence of God? Do you view the Mormon church as being a part of Christianity, or a separate and distinct religious faith? Within my research I have come across the term the sons of perdition, to whom or what does this term refer? Outside of the three Mormon kingdoms of heaven is said to be an outer darkness to which the sons of perdition will be sent, is this outer darkness similar to other accounts of hell or something else? As a practicing Mormon does America hold any spiritual or religious value? Polygamy despite being opposed by the Mormon Church since 1890 is still practiced within some communities who still claim to be Mormon, despite the churches practice excommunicating those who have been found to practice it. What is your view of this issue?
