    Life Everlasting?

My brother has been reading Life Everlasting by Duane Crowthers and I thought I heard a while back someone recommend it to him, even a sister missionary but I cannot remember the situation exactly. I just want to know if anyone has read this and if it was a good book to read. There are reviews online and all but those could be from anyone of any background. I'm wary of reading books by lds authors, particularly of this non-fiction vein, and the book is a bit pricey, even used copies. I just want to know if it is worth getting and what your opinion of it is. It deals with the afterlife right? Like the Spirit World?
  2. I’m open for advice. My only previous church experience is a Lutheran Preschool and two years at a Pentecostal Church from 18-20. I didn’t feel like the Church was the right fit for me but it was near my house and I did have a desire to learn about the basis of Christianity even if I didn’t agree completely with the teachings. Being in a household that did not ever attend church I had to figure out where to turn myself. Side note: my parents still held us kids to high Christian values though.. Anyways I’m 24 into a full time career and working on my doctorate.. married.. things are great but I do feel I need something more, more Godly influence and literature in my life. I was doing some personal investing and searching for what makes most sense to me and came across information pertaining to the lds religion. At first I ignored the feeling bc as simple as it seems I love coffee so I said this won’t be for me. It came back to play in my mind once again so I decided to address things as they come coffee can be modified when I’m ready. i haven’t been to a service bc I’m nervous about the pace for potential converts. At the Pentecostal Church I felt rushed. I need refreshed but am familiar with old and New Testament.. I’ve started the BoM but was wondering about the other lds associated books. Are they held to the same level? What order are they read in? any other knowledge, wisdom, advice you wanna share?

    LDS/Mormon Fictional Aspergers Book

I have Asperger's Syndrome and I am LDS/Mormon too. I have written and published a book called The Greensons. It is about a fictional LDS/Mormon family that has a daughter with Asperger's Syndrome. Here is the link to it if you are interested: http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/Gratiot

    Hello

Hey there. I am a 27 year old guy who was born and raised in the gospel. I have been married for 7 years, sealed for 5 and 1/2 years, and have 2 sons. I know the Church is true, and love my relationship with my Father in Heaven. I actually joined this site to test the waters on my new book, to see if it is a book members and non-members would be interested in. Please let me know what you think! 5. Has anyone ever heard of, or have any information relating to "The Book of Covenants and Commandments"? I know that it was published around the same time as the "Book of Commandments", prelude to D&C. I would really like to know as much as possible about this book, and so far have been unable to learn much about it.

  7. Has anyone on here done one of these? I've been searching around and can find heaps on the Mesoamerican tours but I'd love to see the Middle East side of the Book of Mormon but would like to hear from someone that's been on one. The are a couple of places offering tours this year. Any thoughts/experiences/advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  8. I just posted my new video on demonstrable evidence for the reformed Egyptian script of the Book of Mormon Here: I also have other vids on reformed Egyptian that are quite instructive. Hey, that's what I am told man, I am only passin the word along......
