Whenever I cross-post at LDS.net, Facebook, and LinkedIn, I notice that, by far, I get the most views here. Often it is by a magnitude of more than 10-fold. Granted, I'm not terribly prolific at the other sites, but still...WOW. Am I the only one, or have others noticed this?
Hey everybody, Great to be here. I am Easton and I run a little non-profit called Sweep The Earth that is based in beautiful Denver, CO. Our focus is helping to fulfill Moses 7:62, in which the Lord told the prophet Enoch that in our time, He would flood the earth with righteousness and truth in preparation for His return. So if you like sharing the Gospel, are preparing for a full-time mission, or just want to learn how to be a better member missionary, I invite you to sign up and have some fun with us. Raised in the Church. Grew up in 4 different countries and served in the Peru Trujillo mission from 2000-02. Been working full-time in the social media consulting niche for several years. Anyone who wants help figuring out how to use the Web to accomplish your goals, religious or otherwise, feel free to message me and we can shoot the breeze. Google my name and you should find me pretty easily on Facebook/Twitter/etc. I love the restored Gospel and am deeply humbled to know that a Man I have never met in this life suffered unspeakable torture and paid the complete, incredible price of my sins, so that by His blood-soaked stripes I could be fully healed. It is astonishing to me that it actually works - it is actually real. I know this by the undeniable power of the Holy Ghost, which I have felt thousands of times in my 30 years on this little blue marble sailing through the immense darkness. And I love the Book of Mormon and the great prophet Joseph Smith. I cannot wait to meet that man someday and thank him for all he has done for me. And the book! It is the most powerful and beautiful thing I have ever read. I will never forget how I felt in the summer of 2000 as I studied it carefully for an hour each day, asking God constantly to tell me if it really is true. It was as if a floodlight was shining on me brighter and brighter each day, and a strong armor was placed on me. I did the experiment, and I know for myself. The Book of Mormon is a true history and confirms that Jesus really is the Savior of the world, and that Joseph Smith really did do the will of the Lord and put His authorized church back on the earth. "This is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy." - Alma 29:9
