Bethie Posted August 25, 2008 Report Share Posted August 25, 2008 A fast moving brush fire today in Draper, Utah comes nearnew Temple under construction.Day of Praise: Fire Spreads Near New LDS Temple in UtahThe wind from this fire is blowing smoke into my neighborhood!I shut all the windows, but my eyes and throat are burning fromthe smoke in the air. The local news is reporting that someneighborhoods in Draper are now being evacuated.But the winds are dying down, so that shouldhelp the firefighters get some control. I thinkit was in Iceland... weird redish color everywhere.... it was a few years ago. Last summer 08 there were many forest fires in Rusland/Estonia so the smoke came all the way to Helsinki and it was hard to breath there. Fires are everywhere! i am in VA and this year we had smoke from the Great Dismal Swamp. This was the first time in my life that we have had fire or smoke issues. The fire was not anywhere near us BUT we sure smelled it and could see it! The news is amazing to me because everywhere you turn there is evidence of the second coming.
