LDS Islam friendship

Cool. Note, however, that there are never such gestures coming from the other side

this is not true many Muslims are eager for friendship especially with Latter Day Saints because of our commitment to the family and because of our chastity, fast offerings and we do not partake of alcohol. I know I have many Muslim friends specifically because I am a Latter Day Saint and we have a lot in common.

There have been many but this is my favourite Ensign Article

Uhm, correct me if I'm wrong, but is Muslim really in favour of chastity?

I think I've read somewhere that they encourage one to "release the sexual tension" by for example self-abuse and/or temporary wives.. But I might be wrong of course.

Islam has nearly as many forms as Christianity I know one Muslim friend I met on a course once, had newly moved over from Pakistan and was genuinely surprised that Christianity had many forms. In general at least the ones I have come across have been incredibly chaste.

Very true. My best friend in high school was Muslim. Her family had moved to the US from Saudi Arabia. We had lots of conversations together. Eventually she took the missionary discussions and became a member of the Church. Her family, except for her father, all became members of the Church. The only sad thing is that her family can not go back to Saudi Arabia. Muslims have a very harsh penality about changing faiths.
