fachento
How long does it take to request a copy of your patriarchal blessing? If you request it by mail from the Church History and Archives Department, does it take longer than requesting it in person? Just curious! A. M. pam
When I requested a copy of mine by mail, I received it back in about 2 weeks.
Palerider
if it comes by mail....you have to allow time for stopping to feed and water the horses....
BenRaines
Pale, I thought that you were going to say that it took that long for Pam's because they had to go way, way, way back in the archives. :) Ben Raines

fachento
Has anyone tried going to the Church History and archives building in person? I know someone who lost theirs, and I'm trying to figure out the quickest way for them to get it. I'll trying emailing to get my own - to see how long it takes. The person lives close enough to Salt Lake that going there in person would be an option - I'm just curious if they have "same day" service. Thanks for the input thus far! -A. M. I requested mine in person a few years ago and if my memory is serving me correctly, I walked out with the copy right then. Just to be sure, why not try calling and asking?801-240-3581That's the # listed on the site.
