Jenamarie Posted May 9, 2009 Report Share Posted May 9, 2009 I want to do an extended activity with my girls, and I'll need another group of AD girls in another part of the country (or Canada!) to do it with. The idea (from Sugardoodle) is to have each group of AD girls make a paper doll (kind of like a Flat Stanley) then send that doll to the other group, and the other group takes the doll to their activities and takes pictures of it around town, and writes a journal about what the doll "does", and then sends it back to the other group, so each group recieves a package with pictures and journal entries about what their doll did in the other part of the country. I was thinking of having it be a summer activity, where each of my girls would get the doll for the week, and write at least one journal entry and take at least one picture of what they did with the doll, to send back to the other group who will be doing the same thing. Is anyone interested in this? I'm especially interested in any Canadian or European AD groups, as I think it would be especially interesting to the girls to hear about life in another country.
