L_and_P21
is twelve months long enough though?
puf_the_majic_dragon
"He was a "proud" man..."No, 12 months isn't long enough. But it might be long enough for his wife to get a divorce and take his daughter (and other children?) to somewhere very far away from him. ruthiechan
There is something fundamentally wrong with that man. I have heard of extremism before. I met a Mormon man from Utah whose best friend's son, also a Mormon family, came home with an earring in his ear. The father, the man's best friend, literally ripped it out of his son's ear. When the man was telling me and others this story he agreed with what his best friend had done! He said, well, the kid'll never do that again. He simply didn't understand how such actions were wrong. Dravin
I think some people get so hung up on the responsiblity to raise your children in righteousness that they cross lines, of course plain old pride can never be discounted. There are those out there whose main concern over misbehavior is not focused on the welfare of their children but, 'What will the neighbors think?" havejoy
This guy says he's upset because his daughter wasn't following his Mormon faith? Well he wasn't either. What a maroon.
FlaviusHambonius
I should think so. Ejected from an anger management class? Yeesh.Yea, this is probably what his 'stress' was about that his laywer refered to-- he probably couldn't handle the stress of being 'pissed off' that he was booted out of anger managment classes--what a class act. FlaviusHambonius
is twelve months long enough though? Not IMO-- It should be much longer than that--perhaps when he goes to jail or prison--Bubba will remind him why it's not very nice to hit his daughter up the side of her head with a piece of concrete and I will go out on a limb and say that Bubba will reciprocate the favor to the Dad--Bubba will be slapping him up the side of his head with something--but I don't think it will be a piece of concrete--unless of course Bubba got some Viagra smuggled in to him. FlaviusHambonius
He deserves to be disfellowshipedHe deserves to be excommunicated-- This jackass of a man even told the police that his daughter was lucky that he had not killed her.Apparently this church-going Dad had not heard about the scripture of the Saviour talking about how it would be better to have a millstone hung around his neck.As if it wasn't sick enough to slam into his daughters head a piece of concrete after what I'm sure was a terrifying chase up the street and back home--then this church-going Dad kicked her in the face.Excommunication and a few years with Bubba in the Big house--end of story.
