beefche
Yes, I encourage anyone who doesn't know a football from a basketball especially to join. I need someone to know less than I.

beefche
Hey, purple is the color of my HS. So, any team that has purple or blue (BYU color), I'm picking. For the others, I'll check my magic 8 ball.

Captain_Curmudgeon
Did you ever notice that when a team does a major re-design of their Unis, they have a better season?

Captain_Curmudgeon
Any comment on Vick joining the Eagles? Is he the something extra they need to get back to the Super Bowl? Is he going to be in the QB rotation or is he going to be (ironically) the Wild Cat? I almost wish the old football term "Red Dog" had stayed around. I am all about giving a guy a second chance.18 months of lock-down doesn't do much for your conditioning. He'll probably take a while to get into 100% game shape, then I wouldn't be surprised if starter is in his future again. But who know? Guest Godless
I'm all for giving Vick a second chance. Heck, Ray Lewis has managed to stay out of trouble these past 9 years since his murder ordeal, why not Vick?
Dr T
Are you asking him to murder Vic?
Jbs2763
Are you asking him to murder Vic?in a metaphoric manner..Lewis is pretty tough...have you seen some of his hits?has to a literal thing...he skated once on murder, doubt he'll try it again
Dr T
Ok, I do need to say that I just watched some Ravens clips on Youtube and I caught the fire! They have some good D and look to have their heads on right about what it takes to give it all you've got. It will be fun to watch them this season. See, I wasn't really going to watch but now I'm kinda leaning that toward watching some. Ray Lewis can HIT!
Captain_Curmudgeon
Told my neighbor (another GB fan) that there was no way Favre would play for the Vikes this season. And here he is. Shows how much I know. On the other hand, I think his playing for the Vikes is good for the Bears and the Packers. Look what he did for the Jets last season: kept them out of the playoffs. Look for those late-season interceptions to be game-deciders.
