pam
The 3 steps to strengthen our homes and our family relationships. 1. Express love and show it: We need to say it, we need to mean it and we need to consistently show it. 2. Bear testimony and live it: What we know is not always reflected in what we do. 3. Be consistent: Each family prayer, each family home evening, each family scripture study is a brush stroke on the canvass of our soul. disclaimer: I am hoping that I have quoted correctly as I was trying to write this down quickly. beefche
I yelled out, "Amen, Elder!" when he said that he cringes when he hears people say in a talk, "I know I don't say this enough, but I want to publically say that I love my spouse and children..." If you don't say it enough, then say it! And do it privately since it's such an intimate thing to tell someone.

Jenamarie
Well, we'll be having Family Home Evening on Monday. We've dropped out of the habit this Summer ETA: I really loved the analogy he made to the painting of wheat. That's something that's going to stick with me next time I hear "Mooommmyyyy! He's touching me!" during FHE.
Connie
This is one of my favs so far. I really liked the idea of "as disciples of Christ we don't necessarily need to know more, we just need to do more of what we know." Not sure i got that right, i think he said it at least twice, i'm definitely going to listen to this one again.
