Jenamarie
I guess I'll transfer my post from the April thread to this one. I was so amazed when he said that over 80% of the LDS population now lives within 200 miles of a Temple. That is just friggin' amazing. Yay for Pres. Hinkley! pam
I can't remember who said this..but it was mentioned that when Pres. Hinckley was put in the 1st Presidency in 1981..there were 19 working temples..when he died there were 128. That is truly amazing.
Jenamarie
Ya, when I was in Primary memorizing where all the Temples were was a fairly easy thing for a kid to do. Not so any more.
BenRaines
When Pam was a kid she just had to memorize Manti, St. George and Salt Lake City temples. Real easy back then. :) Ben Raines
pam
I believe Ben just had to memorize Solomon's temple when he was a kid.
