Limit your exposure to pornography

Recommended Posts

Another step to overcoming pornography is to limit your exposure to it.

This is especially true while surfing the Internet. I have noticed that by

using CleanVisit, my search results are always much safer than using other

search engines like: Google, MSN, Bing, etc.

You know, the best step in dealing with pornography is actually just to never view

it in the first place. This CleanVisit web browser/search engine is also a great tool

to prevent the "temptation" to view pornographic images as well.

Hey,

Two points:

1.) Limiting one's exposure to pornography seems to be the de facto consensus on LDS.net. I have never yet seen a conversation where pornography advocates vocalize the manyfold benefits of adult entertainment--during my time on the forum. Therefore, your advice falls under the category of obvious.

2.) You are selling a product. It is my understanding that the moderators look upon marketing with sour, dare-I-say bulldog-faced, moderator frowns of displeasure. If this rule bears an exception to which I am blatantly ignorant, then I apologize. Otherwise, you may bear the wrath of our benevolent forum oligarchy. They rule with a friendly, iron fist.

I hope that I have misjudged your post and that my characterization is amiss. Indeed, I wish you the best of luck with your business venture.

Regards,

Kawazu

These are the rules which I went over with cleanvisit during the night:

13. You will not use this site to solicit the sale of any product, service or website. If appropriate, you may post a link to your business on your profile, in your forum signature, and you make create one post in the web link section of the forum. Do not post any link or discuss any business, service, or website that violates any rule of LDS.net. LDS.net is not responsible for the content of any site linked on LDS.net.

So in order to stay within the rules she has posted this once and has it in her signature. If advertising appears in other areas of the site, then appropriate action will be taken.

I totally agree, this is why I thought this would be a great place post this information.

I am not selling anything, a friend of mine set this up to make it as easy as possible to start browsing the internet safely.

I do have one question, am I allowed to post the link to cleanvisit.com directly in this

thread or can it only be contained in my signature.

You can check it out for yourself, it is a basic Google-powered search engine with advanced proprietary technology that filters sexually explicit content.

Let me know what you guys think, I am open to feedback and I want the whole world to hear about CleanVisit.
