James B. Martino - Sunday pm session

Recommended Posts

Each of us will face trials and tests. It's how we react to those difficulties that will determine our outcome.

We may never know in this life why we face the things that we do. The challenge is to gain that eternal perspective while we are going through these tests.

Instead of asking why me, the question should be "what am I to do? What am I to change?"

In our trial let us not become bitter, but follow the Saviors example.

What we can learn from those last 5 hours of the Saviors life.

1. He sought not to do His will but the will of the Father.

2. When we are faced with trials we must quit murmurring.

3. When we face our challenges we must seek greater help from God.

4. Let us learn to serve others even in our times of trial.

5. Forgive others and do not seek to pass the blame of our situation to them.
