1. Did the family eat together or boys adn girls separate?

When the family ate together, they ate together. No segregation.

2. The oldest boy was well always the one, who was supposed to be the patriarc of the family and the spiritual leader?

Technically, yes, but not always so in practice.

3. How many years the children of higher status were in school to learn the scriptures and to be a scribe?

We don't know that there was such a concept of a Torah education like there was later on.

4. And how old they were when they were educatged?

Quite young, I imagine. In talmudic times education began at 5.

5. Was there any selebration after finnishing?

Probably.

6. Did the family have all kids in scribeschools or just one?

Fairly unusual for them to have even one in a school. Scribes also tended to be relatives.

7. Did girls get any such education?

I doubt it. They did get some sort of education at least in talmudic times, but I'm not sure exactly what this entailed.

I'm going to have to do more research into scribal practices of neighbouring cultures, because there is so little information available from Judah itself.

Woman's life could be summed up in a later Arab song.

By my father's life! By my fathers life!

I don't want the poor man!

He wakes me up early in the morning and says,

He wakes me up early in the morning and says,

"Prepare the lentils!"

By my father's life! By my father's life!

I want the rich man!

He wakes me up early in the morning and says,

He wakes me up early in the morning and says,

"Knead the dough in oil!"

He is probably writting the book.. so we can enjoy the rest in the book. He also has a bad back. I hope he is doing ok. Back can be very painful...

I don't believe it's his back.

Uh that is awfull. If the Enliven Noni produkt would still be alive, I would send him a few bottles. It helped a friend of mine to endure the wait of a backoperation. He could try Noni... but it would have to be the real stuff, NOT any babystuff, that usually is sold in stores and homesales. Kyani continues to sell noniFX, but I think it is NOT as srong stuff as the Enliven was (and it dont taste as good). It is also expencive and my friend used a lot of it, but it helped him with the pain.

Back ace is the worst I know!

Maya as I mentioned, I don't believe it's his back. The last message I got from him he advised me of other health issues he had. He never mentioned his back.
