Think for a moment of a teacher that really made a difference in your life. What was it about him or her that caused you to remember what was taught?

What was it that set him or her above the rest?

What matters most in learning is attitude. Attitude of the teacher.

Successful gospel teachers love the Gospel.

To teach the gospel is to share your love of the Gospel.

A teacher’s attitude is not taught it’s caught.

4 basic principles of gospel teaching:

Immerse yourself in scripture study – One cannot teach the gospel without knowing the gospel.

Apply in your life the things that you learn.

Seek heaven’s help

Exercise our agency in accordance with the promptings of the Spirit we receive
