pam
Many feel that they have to have the same experiences as Saul or Joseph Smith to believe. Those who diligently seek to learn of Christ will eventually come to know Him. Our Father in Heaven loves His children. To hear His voice, it would be wise to turn down the volume to the worldly noise. Let us strive to be among those whom the Lord can rely on to hear His whisperings and respond. Heavenly Father expects us to study it out first and then pray for guidance as we seek guidance to answers and concerns in our personal lives. The answer may come through trusted friends and family. It is usually through another person that he meets our needs. Therefore it is vital that we serve each other. We need to be sensitive to others and serve as the Savior did. Often the answers to prayer do not come to us while we are on our knees but while we are on our feet. By becoming the answer to someone else’ prayer we get answers to our own. The Lord expects that members of His church to open their mouths at all times declaring His gospel with the sound of rejoicing. Sometimes just a simple statement of testimony can affect another for eternity. If we are at peace with the world, people will want to know why.Do not miss the opportunities to share the gospel. Do not wait on the road to Damascus.
