pam
Heavenly Father is a God of high expectations. The final judgment is not just an evaluation of what we have done. It’s also an evaluation of what we have become. It is not enough to just go through the motions. One particular attitude and practice we need to accept is to be willing to accept and even seek correction. We should rejoice that God takes the time and considers us worthy to correct.Divine chastening has 3 purposes.· To persuade us to repent· To refine and sanctify us· To redirect our course in life Repentance is the necessary condition for forgiveness and cleansing. Enduring chastening can prepare us for greater spiritual experiences. If we desire and strive to live up to Heavenly Father’s expectations he will ensure that we receive all the help necessary to do so.
