The three aids to growing in the Priesthood: A President who knows how to sit in council with the members of his quorum. Great faith in Jesus Christ that led to the love for one another. Joseph Smith was a great example of this. Shared conviction that the purpose of the priesthood is to labor for the salvation of men. This brings unity in quorums. The words of the Lord about creating a place of priesthood learning: “Organize yourselves; … establish a house … of learning, … a house of order. …“Appoint among yourselves a teacher, and let not all be spokesmen at once; but let one speak at a time and let all listen unto his sayings, that when all have spoken that all may be edified of all, and that every man may have an equal privilege Discord or jealous inhibits the ability of the Holy Ghost to teach us.
