I know kind of what it means and why we say it. My question is if we are listening to someone give a talk or bear their testimony on the TV or radio (ie: General Conference) do we have to say Amen? Do we have to say Amen even if it is recorded and are listening to it again? (I do love to listen to General Conference). Just wondering. I don’t want to be weird at work saying Amen every five to fifteen minutes. LOL. If there are any answeres out there.. LOL ^_^:D

I think that when we are watching general conference live it makes sense to say "Amen" at the appropriate moments (if we want to). However, when we are watching a recording, I don't see any need to say it.

I agree. But, to me (and me alone as there's nothing doctrinal about this), saying "Amen" to a general conference talk recording is like re-affirming your desire to live by those principles and guidelines.

Just my thought.
