Hi Everyone :)

I started investigating the church in March. It all started because I went to the mormon.org website and requested a Book of Mormon. I thought it would come via mail. Within 2 days the missionaires knocked on our door. I was sick so my husband (he stopped going to church in 1886) answered the door. He brought the book in to me with a questioning look. He asked "What brought this on?" I told him I wasnt sure. It was just a feeling. The next time we had visitors at the door my husband answered again and told them I was not quite ready to talk yet. Next time I answered and it was pouring rain. My husband wasnt home so they stood out in the rain talking to me. The next time they got lucky. We were both home. They came in, finally. I listened to their message and felt a new light inside me. We attended sacrament for the next 4 weeks. Every time I attended I felt so very loved. The following week was fasting and testimony. I was so moved that I asked the missionares to be baptized. You should have seen the looks on their faces...they had NEVER had anyone directly come to them and asked to be baptized. They guided me so well. As it turns out my husband had been ordained when he was in the church and after a few meetings he was allowed to baptize me. I LOVE The Church with ALL my heart!

How old is your husband exactly? Just asking since he left the church in 1886! Great story.
