Gramps?

Hey LDS.net-ers.

Random question for the long time users of this forum, especially Pam and Vort...

I ran across another More Good Foundation website that's called Ask Gramps. (Ask Gramps - Q & A about Mormon Doctrine) I vaguely remember there being somebody named gramps on this website when I first came on here a few years ago. Is this the same guy?

Thanks!

Alexis

About Gramps | Ask Gramps

Gramps is a moral voice in an Internet environment that can be awash in immorality. Ask Gramps is a breath of fresh air, a favorite among young and old. He writes with down-home wit and knows something about everything (although he is not ashamed to admit that he often solicits help from experts to answer some questions). Gramps is highly conservative, unabashedly God-fearing, and will find a way to teach you a moral lesson. His approach is to invite people into his family through validating their concerns; providing quick, entertaining, easy-to-understand answers; and ending with a warm sentiment that gives hope.

I do not know if Gramps (the poster) is the same "Gramps" of askgramps.org

Sorry, I don't know Gramps (the LDS.net poster) and can't really answer the question. Pam and others here may know more than I.

The reality is, while we enjoy Gramps' answers, we do not speak much about his personal lifestyle. There was a period of time when we had to edit some of his posts. For some reason he got into talking about how wearing his wife's bloomers and high heels were "free-ing". I understand they now have his medications adjusted and he's doing fine.

Oh and btw..I hope you enjoy the Askgramps site. I manage that one as well as lds.net. :) Don't I make a lovely gramps? Though I can only take credit for a couple of the answers. I use others that are far smarter than I am.

Ha ha ha, I just read a very amusing (to me) post. The inquirer was asking why Prince William and Duchess Kate didn't get married in the temple. Obviously they are not LDS. I feel bad for these people that think the whole world is LDS. Granted, it'd be great if it was. But it's not.

So, the innuendo is that Pam is now wearing cow underwear.... Must be cow tranquilizers she got from gramps, too. Udderly ridiculous!

Tune in next week when Dravin realizes the real reason he was not allowed to get up close to Beefche on the honeymoon! And it isn't because Pam had her bloomers....
