Perhaps the best way to remember her is to share one of her books with our own children, so that those works live on for another generation. I remember as a kid playing in the woods and talking to my beautiful queen with her tail wrapped around my neck. Mmmm, memories. God bless her and her family. I was an adult reading them but I did love the dragons. They had a culture all of their own with its romances, quirks and drama. I had never thought of it that way before but the stories are two fold. The stories of the people and their struggles to survive, but also the stories of the dragons and their lives, and how the two species intertwined with each other. I too fell in love with the world of Pern when I was younger, before I was converted. Since then I have shied away from stories that talk about s-x. It leads me to inappropriate thoughts and is more temptation than I can handle, so I had to make a clean break. I have tried reading the new ones by Todd, but I find they have way too much in the way of lust and significantly less story.
