volgadon
The replies on this thread remind me of that one song - we didn't start the fire.So the replies reminded you of people trying to change the world for the better even though they didn't cause all of the problems? Awesome. I wish I could say the same about your posts here.
HoosierGuy
Hoosier, you need to go for a walk and get some fresh air! Turn off the news channels and watch a good comedy. For heavens sake avoid politics for a few days. ^^ Believe me I know how it feels. lol. Nope. I've found a different outlet for my anger. I'm making videos and putting them on youtube. I've got two up and will have a third in a few weeks. And if you saw them you would think they were done by a professional production company. MorningStar
The replies on this thread remind me of that one song - we didn't start the fire. Cayman islands Swiss bank accounts, hidden moneeeey, right to work for less, praise the Job Creactoooors, iPad death factory, anti-gay right to work for less money, anti-woman and Viagra commercials on TV - I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!! Guest
It's hard to live in the U.S. and not use something made by one of those filthy corporations.Yes! And my husband and I - just like 20% of American workers feed our family working for these what you call filthy corporations. Hoooray for filth! I want more of them.I mean, if you are really so anti-corporation, you can live in Kenya or Ghana. Beautiful countries that are completely corporation-free and very poor. Just the way you like it! Guest
This kind of supports my husband's opinion that political values aren't on a line going right and left, but in a circle that comes back on itself as you become more extreme. Still_Small_Voice
Here are a few opinions of mine. Capital Gains tax is immoral. The tax should be repealed. We should bring all the funds home to America for people who are sheltering their assets in other countries. I would love to see our President pay his fair share that he loves to talk about so much. He can give up all the millions in assets he owns to the poor and work only getting an annual salary of $85,000.

BenRaines
In California we do not pay taxes on groceries, food stuff. We do on cleanser, things like that in grocery store but not on food items. Vegetables, meat, milk, bread, chips, canned food, etc. Ben Raines

Basics for sustaining life type food.Ben RainesDepends on the States. There's no federal sales tax currently in the USA. Each state impose taxes differently. In Florida, for example, there is no State personal income tax but retail sales, including staple groceries, are subject to sales tax. In Texas, there is no State personal income tax and there is no sales tax on staple groceries like bread, milk, etc. In Ohio, there is a State personal income tax but there is no sales tax on staple groceries. In Georgia, there is a State personal income tax and all retail sales, including staples, have a sales tax (although, they're trying to phase it out shortly). miztrniceguy
I was wondering who Hoosier Guy was referring to. Is tax evasion the only reason people go to the Cayman Islands? Should I report everyone who tells me they are going to the IRS in hopes of getting a snitch payout?
