pam Posted March 31, 2012 Report Share Posted March 31, 2012 Heavenly Father gives mothers and fathers specific instructions through the scriptures in how to teach their children.We are to teach our children to understand the doctrine.Our roles as parents are to create an atmosphere so that children can recognize the spirit.We need to be able to recognize a teaching moment with our children.Just as important are the teaching moments during prayer and Family Home Evening.It requires teaching by precept and principle.Learning to fully understand the gospel is a lifetime process.
