pam Posted April 1, 2012 Report Share Posted April 1, 2012 Our fundamental commission is to teach the gospel in all of the world.While there is much we do not know, the truths we do know will continue and we will learn more.We value scholarship that enhances understanding.How does the Savior reveal His voice to our prophets, seers and revelators? He may come individually or acting in counsel. New doctrine may come through the Prophet by revelation. This is not done by voting but by revelation.A statement made by one leader at a single location is not meant to be official or binding for the entire church.Seek through prayer the same witness that Joseph Smith had that Jesus is the Christ.
