pam
"As your circumstances allow, as you are eligible for retirement, and as your health permits, I encourage you to make yourselves available for full-time missionary service. classylady
First I have to find a husband. :)Even though I have a husband now, if I was to be widowed or divorced, I think I would still want to serve a senior mission. What's the policy for older single sisters? We just had a widow leave for a mission this month, but I didn't ask her what type of mission she would be serving. I think I've heard that older sisters aren't called as proselyting missionaries anymore.
pam
I'm not sure anymore. When my family used to house missionaries, we had some senior single sisters. But that was years and years and years ago.
