I love it when my girls get into stuff that's not typically "girly" but try to broaden their exposure to all things good. And whats better than rebuilding a Fiero? She reminds me of my wife, who is a certified mechanic and used to rebuild transmissions for U-haul. She is in her last year of residency for Internal Medicine and hoping to move into Cardiology and she loves it. Her understanding of mechanics made going into medicine an easy transition. She recently did a school project comparing the organelles in a cell to the equipment required to keep an engine running...no wonder she wants to be a mechanical engineer.
