Many voices in the world tell us we must live at a frantic pace.

Inside each of us is the need to have a place of refuge. A place to reset, regroup and reenergize.

The ideal place is within the walls of our own homes. Where we make Jesus Christ the centerpiece.

Everything should be centered on what the Savior would have you do.

The fulfillment of this counsel does not rest on parents alone. Children also have a responsibility in this.

Children who are made to feel accountable for their actions grow to be trustworthy citizens in the Kingdom of God.

We need to have daily family and personal prayer. Daily family and personal scripture study and weekly Family Home Evening.

Don't rationalize any future actions by taking shortcuts.

Consistent good habits lead to full and bountiful blessings.

In the premortal life we proved to be valiant and pure and prepared ourselves to face challenges with success.

Satan is no match for the Savior. Satan's fate is decided. He knows he is lost but wants to take as many with him as he can.

Satan will exploit your weaknesses. Stay on the Lord's side and you will win every time.

Depending on how technology is used they can be a deterrent or a blessing.

Who could have imagined a few years ago that all of the standard works and messages from general conferences could fit into your pocket?

Be wise in how you embrace technology.

If young people would review scriptures on their phones as much as they send text messages they could have thousands of scriptures memorized.

Become friends with your children's friends. Become an example to them.

Reach out to those living in adverse circumstances. Be a true friend.

Welcome into your home others who need to be strengthened by a Christ centered home.

We need to trust in the Lord and in His timing.

We exercise faith and must remember there are some things that must be left to the Lord.

Recognize the good in others. Not their stains.

Strive to live worthily and place your trust in the Lord.

We need not worry if we can't simultaneously do all the things the Lord would want us to do. The Lord will direct us in what should be emphasized in each phase of our life.

One consistent step at a time.

The atonement of Jesus Christ is the source of peace.
