pam
As Christians we have a deep love of God.We respectively submit that the heart of the gospel and the power to save is through God the Father and His Son.The Book of Mormon records the visit of Jesus to the Nephites. It introduces the risen Christ. In the gospels, Christ mentions His father 160 times.Every time Christ refers to His father (Heavenly Father) he does so with the upmost respect and reverence. The Father and the Son are 2 distinct beings but one in purpose. The full gift of the Holy Ghost only comes to those who come with a contrite heart and spirit and come to baptism. This ordinance can only be done by one who holds the authorized Priesthood. The doctrine of the Father and the Son is the doctrine of eternal being. We are the children of our Heavenly Father.
