McConkie), and I'd rather spend my time studying the words of prophets that taught powerful sermons, rather than those that speculated on anything and everything. ElectofGod Posted July 11, 2013 Report Share Posted July 11, 2013 I think McConkie was a very powerful teacher, more so than many along with JFS. I agree with skal, get rid of the manual and teach about Christ and make the teacher come up with a lesson on their own. Stick with the book of mormon manual.
