Has anyone read this? It is one of the first books by LDS writers I have read, and being that deep spirituality has always appealed to me, it is a very touching book to say the least.

I just finished reading this last week. It had a lot of good insights, and clear explanations of things I'd believed about Heavenly Father and His Plan for a long time, but I wish it had included more scriptural support for it's arguments (which I know are there), and less quotes from philosophers and poets. If someone wanted to say that the LDS view of God is a man-made view of God, this book would be a good argument in that favor, IMO.

I really enjoyed the audio book and sometimes listen to it while long-boarding. I highlights that truth, that all of us born to this earth, no matter during what age or what culture, have an inboard compass or instinct that gently point us to the truth if we will but listen. These truths we attain have as much to do with remembering as discovering.
