Gerald Causse - Priesthood Session

A common unity in the church is attainable.

The church represents many languages and cultures.

The church is global and universal.

Our sacred heritage transcends our differences. We become brothers and sisters. Equal heirs to this sacred lineage.

Ye are no more strangers or foreigners.

Disciples of Jesus Christ we strive to be in the world but not of the world.

The people of God have been commanded to care for all that are strangers or appear to be different.

We need to strive to have a perfect love.

In this church there are no strangers or outcasts. Only brothers and sisters.

Our wards and our quorums do not belong to us. They belong to Jesus Christ.

It’s possible that the next convert may not come from your circle of acquaintances.

This person may come from a different lifestyle or background.

We need to make sure that no one is forgotten or unloved.

Unity is not achieved or isolating members who seem to be different or weaker.

Unity is gained by serving those that are new or have particular needs.

No one is a stranger to our Heavenly Father.
