There may be times when rising up and continuing on her way may be beyond our ability. Even when we think we cannot rise up, there is still hope. We can become so overwhelmed by our shortcoming we think we will never succeed. No one likes to fail. We don’t like it when others see us fail. We all want to be respected and esteemed. We want to be champions. We don’t become champions without effort and with mistakes. Mortal life is a test. He has given us a map to follow. The words of the prophets are part of this map. The words of the prophets tell us how to rise up and get back on track. Through the atonement we are promised not only peace in this world but of eternal life in the world to come. Often enough we are the ones being held up by friends and family. Keeping our sights on higher goals, will make us better fathers and husbands. Every person, young and old have had their own personal experience of falling. There will be times when you think that you cannot continue on. Trust in the Savior.
