Many challenges can be overcome but others are difficult to understand and difficult to overcome. Our mortal journey is meant to be a test. Heavenly Father understood that we would not always make the right choices. The Savior’s atoning sacrifice makes eternal life possible through repentance. Endurance is an important principle found in the doctrine of Jesus Christ. We must press forward, feasting on the words of Jesus Christ. We must complete the appropriate ordinance work. Our ability to endure to the end will be in direct proportion to our testimony. If our testimonies are weak the risk is much greater that we will be enticed by the false dictates of the world. We can’t get our spiritual bodies in shape simply by watching General Conference on television. We must live it. You must become the rock the river cannot wash away. The obstacles we face are the challenges we face each morning when we wake up. We need to get into spiritual shape. We need to develop spiritual stamina.
