Jenamarie
What are your kids dressing up as? Are you going to dress up too? Any family themes? Do share!
Guest
Something modest. Costumes in the stores are appalling. Oldest wants to be Cousin It. Middle wants to be a candy corn. Two youngest girls, princesses. Boy, dinosaur.
Seanette
I've seen the comment made that costumes for adult women all fall into the "slutty _______" category. Sounds about right to me, seeing costumes promoted that back when I was a kid, prostitutes might well have found overly skimpy and/or tacky. Probably not bothering with costumes this year, hoping I'll at least see some trick-or-treaters showing up. I live in an apartment complex with a good number of kids, but not a single cute little costumed mooch :) at my door last year.

Guest
We've had it easy the past couple years - and again this year. The kids grew out of costumes. They think it's too kiddy. Now, they just put on their jiu-jitsu gi's and call it a day.

Swiper
I do believe that my daughter will be wearing some kind of "Monster High" outfit. I usually wear a full-body gorilla suit and my white schnauzer wearing a banana outfit. So if you see a gorilla walking a banana on Halloween -- that's me. NeuroTypical
So if you see a gorilla walking a banana on Halloween -- that's me.I see I may have some competition in the adult costume race.I haven't finished my costume yet, but it includes drywall stilts, medical canes, recycled packaging material, a bag of eyes, a plastic mask, silicone caulk, and duct tape. All wrapped by dyed cheesecloth.I may post pictures, if I can get my wife to admit knowing me long enough to take them.
Seanette
Can anyone explain this to me???? The TravelerBasically, pick something a woman might dress up as. For example, a nurse. Then make the costume as revealing and sleazy as possible without violating indecent exposure laws.
