Swiper
One of my dogs are dying and she might not make it through the night. I'm 1,500 miles away and my flight wont depart until tomorrow afternoon. That Tennessee Whiskey in the hotel room refrigerator looks mighty tempting right now. That's all. Thank you for listening. Sorry to hear that. I have three dogs myself and each is a dearly loved family member. Is there anyone you can talk to over the phone? A family member or friend? If you're at all able to do that, that's what I would do. On an ending note, drinking alcohol, especially when depressed, is a really bad idea. Warm vibes headed your way! Guest
So sorry about your dog. It must be hard to not be home right now. Go see a movie, go for a walk, go work out in the exercise room. . . distract yourself.
Roseslipper
Im sorry about your dog...I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet. I lost my baby(pet) had her for 19 1/2 yrs. I loved her with all my heart and soul. she was everything to me. One of my roommates at byu gave her to me for my birthday present and in my head i said what am I going to do with a dog out here. Went home and never been back and that dog was the best gift I ever received I still have not gotten another dog. IT'S about 13 yrs now. So i say dog, or people loved them while u have them, know that you will reunite with them some day...which is a great thing...even thou it hurts. And forget the whiskey it will not make you feel better!!! Probably make u feel worse....

Irishcolleen
I am so sorry. A dog's love is so special and unconditional. I pray that God will bring you peace and healing. Again, as a dog-mommy myself, I am so sorry.
Guest
Oh no!!! This is always a tough time in one's life to lose a beloved pet. I've been through it several times myself. I saw that movie Marley and Me and I bawled like crazy at the theater...
Swiper
I was able to with her when she passed on December 21st. We spent $2,500 trying to save her life but she lost her battle against IMHA.The Last BattleIf it should be that I grow frail and weak And pain should keep me from my sleep, Then will you do what must be done, For this -- the last battle -- can't be won. You will be sad I understand, But don't let grief then stay your hand, For on this day, more than the rest, Your love and friendship must stand the test. We have had so many happy years, You wouldn't want me to suffer so. When the time comes, please, let me go. Take me to where to my needs they'll tend, Only, stay with me till the end And hold me firm and speak to me Until my eyes no longer see. I know in time you will agree It is a kindness you do to me. Although my tail its last has waved, From pain and suffering I have been saved. Don't grieve that it must be you Who has to decide this thing to do; We've been so close -- we two -- these years, Don't let your heart hold any tears. -Unknown author- Edited January 4, 2014 by Swiper
